Industrial Noise outfit from NYC. The MF logo shows a martini-cocktail glass turned upside down meaning “the party’s over!.” MF made a point of fighting gentrification in New York’s Lower East Side and other metropolitan areas. They left their logo painted on walls where ever they travelled. Experimental Half-Hour European Tour

Pledge Now for DVDs, Music, and Swag!

Pledge Now to support Experimental Half-Hour

Experimental Half-Hour is a cable television show that showcases local and international musicians, dancers, comedians, writers, and performance artists. Our collaborators include established professional artists as well as new performers that excite and inspire us. In addition to broadcasting locally and maintaining a free Internet archive, we engage with the community by curating live multimedia performances, screening episodes at local festivals, and strongly encouraging public participation at tapings. Experimental Half-Hour facilitates a connection between artists and the often underestimated resources our community provides to create, document, and share work with others. Conceptual growth is stimulated by access to a broad range of new and old technologies. A video might be shot in HD, then edited on an analogue mixer. A visual artist might have the opportunity to play with a green screen for the first time.

We’d like to expand our vision by collaborating with artistic communities abroad through: collaboration of projected live visuals, documenting performance pieces utilizing video effects, and producing episodes of our television show. We bring with us a set of unique homemade video effects and analog video synthesizers. We will record and edit new episodes as we travel. Each episode will be uniquely tailored to the individual artistic performances. In keeping with the eclectic nature of the show, the episodes will lend themselves to the vision and essence of the art over the rigidity of a set format or style.

Pledge Now to support Experimental Half-Hour

Our goal is to encompass as many artistic communities through multiple produced thirty minute episodes to be aired in numerous cities in the United States. All money collected will pay for a portion of the travel costs.

Scheduled Stops Include:

  • New York City
  • Croatia
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Slovenia
  • Serbia
  • Belgium
  • France
